WALKING BY FAITH - I KEEP CLIMBING
- REFLECTIONS ON GOING FORWARD

 

Here I Stand

 LOOKING AT THE HEIGHTS BEFORE ME 

Philippians 3. 12

Not as though I had akready attained, 

either were already perfect,

but I follow after, 

that I may apprehend that 

for which I also am 

apprehended 

of Christ Jesus.

Philippians 3.13

Brethren, I count not myself

to have apprehended: but this one

thing I do, forgetting those things

which are behind, 

and reaching forth 

unto those things 

which are before.

Philippians 4.14

I press toward the mark

of the prize of 

the high calling or God

in Christ Jesus.

TITUS 3. v. 4 - 6

4. But after that the kindness and love 

of God our Saviour toward man appeareed,

5. Not by works of righteousness 

which we have done, but 

according to his mercy he saved us,

by the washing of 

regeneration

and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

v.6  which he shed on us 

abundantly 

through Jesus Christ our Saviour.

GOD HAS GIVEN ME 

HIS LOVE 

THROUGH OUR 

LORD AND SAVIOUR 

JESUS CHRIST.

THE MARVEL OF IT ALL! 

THE WONDER OF IT !

He dipped down to

reach me 

a sinner 

lost 

alone 

away from God

to bring 

me back into 

His loving care.

THE LIGHTHOUSE BY THE SEA

is a post I put on my blog 

when I first moved to 

Blaine WA

in 2015.

I am convinced that 

i would be still lost 

if it had not been

for God's mercy 

and for his grace

in my life

  

MERCY IS WHAT SOMEONE

GIVES TO ANOTHER WHO

DOES NOT DESERVE IT.

GRACE IS SOMETHING

GIVEN TO ONE THAT 

DOES NOT DESERVE

ANY THING BUT 

JUDGMENT.

GUILT..

In our lives we have mountains

that come before us.

Mountains of doubt,

of hurt, of depression,

of fear, of uncertainty,

but Jesus Christ has

given to 

those who believe 

in His Name, 

the Comforter,

The Dear Holy Ghost,

The Holy Breath of God

Who is Dwelling in each

believer

Tabernacling with us

that 

Jesus Christ 

and 

The Father 

and 

the Holy Spirit

are 

NOW LIVING IN 

THAT BELIEVER

John 3. 16 
FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD
THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY 
BEGOTTEN SON
THAT WHOSOEVER
BELIEVETH 
IN HIM 
SHOULD NOT PERISH,
BUT 
HAVE 
EVERLASTING LIFE.

John  14.23 
If a man love me, he will keep
my words:  and my Father
will love him, and we 
will come unto him,
and make our 
abode with him.
John 14.25 
These things have I soken unto you,
being yet present with you...
John 14. 26
But the Comforter wich is
the Holy Ghost, whom the Father
will send, in my name, 
he shall teach you
all things, 
asn shall bring 
to your 
remembrance, 
whatsoever I have 
said unto you.

His words are now 

written down in 

the NEW TESTAMENT 

which was given to us

through the 

Holy Spirit 

because God has

given us 

JESUS AS THE ONE WHO DIED 

and when He died 

His Blood became the 

Way into 

the Heavenly of 

the Heavenlies

He said before he died,

at the Passover table, he 

took the cup and said, 

Matthew 26.27, 28

And he took the cup, and 

gave thanks, and gave it

to them, saying, 

Drink ye all of it, 

for this is my blood 

of the new testament, 

which is shed for many for 

the remission 

(the forgiveness) 

of sins. 

A will cannot go into effect

until the person who wrote it

dies.  

When they die, they read the 

last will and testament of 

that person's property and possessions.

JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD

AND OUR SAVIOUR

DID DIE FOR OUR SINS

HIS LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT

WAS TO GIVE US THE 

HOLY SPIRIT 

AND 

DRINKING THE CUP

AND TAKING 

THE BREAD

IS ONLY IN MEMORIAL

OF HIS DEATH

HIS BURIAL

AND HIS RESURRECTION

Thus, as we partake

of the WORDS HE SPOKE

and 

fellowship 

in obedience with

His Dear Spirit to guide 

and lead us 

He has built His Church.

When Believers gather

to fellowship

the Spirit of God bears witness 

with our spirit 

that we ARE the children

of God.

AND THE MOUNTAINS TO CLIMB

AND THE VALLEY IN WHICH

WE HAVE TO GO

TO GET TO THE HEIGHTS

ARE ALL IN HIS PLAN

for us by 

letting His Spirit 

lead

guide 

direct.

HOW DOES HE DO THAT? 

By the reading of God's Word

We find it mirrors to us 

what we really are like,

and then

His Word quickens 

the lost to know they are sinners,

and 

brings about

TRUE REPENTANCE 

WHICH TURNS US 

FROM

A LIFE OF SIN 

TO  LIFE EVERLASTING.

COME JOURNEY WITH ME 

the first thing 

is to know 

you are lost without Christ.

so the next thing 

is that 

you need to 

decide if you believe

Jesus rose from the dead

and that 

as he said, 

God so love the world

that he gave his only 

begotten Son

next, 

IF YOU DECIDE

I AM LOST

I NEED A SAVIOUR

THEN

look at John 3. 16 again.

"THAT WHO SO EVER" 

believeth

SO the Key is to 

TAKE THE GIFT 

OF HIS PROMISE

 AND SAY

I  AM A SINNER. 

COVER ME WITH YOUR BLOOD.

WASH ME CLEAN.

MAKE ME NEW.

If you do that 

The Holy Ghost - The Holy Spirit

will come into your life.

THE FATHER WILL

IMMERSE YOU 

"BAPTIZE YOU" 

into the vat of the Holy Spirit

and forever more 

you will be 

identified 

with the Lord Jesus Christ.

You will instantly 

change.

Your life will never be 

the same.

JOHN 3.3 

Verily, Verily, I say unto thee, 

except a man be born again, he 

cannot see the kingdom of God.

John 3.7.  Marvel not that 

I say unto thee, Ye must 

be born again.

WHEN YOU ARE BRAND NEW

AS A NEW CREATURE

IN CHRIST JESUS

THEN

YOU CAN START

CLIMBING

the mountains of doubt will give 

way to heights of increasing Joy

and Faith

and Hope

and Love.

You will discover

the peace that Jesus gives.

John 14.27 

is the peace 

that comes from

having the Holy Ghost

within my heart

and yours.

PEACE I LEAVE WITH YOU,

MY PEACE I GIVE UNTO YOU,

NOT AS THE WORLD GIVES,

GIVE I UNTO YOU, 

LET NOT YOUR HEART

BE TROUBLED ,

NEITHER

LET IT BE AFRAID.

YE SHALL LIVE ALSO.

                      WHERE I AM

                      KNOWING 

                     THAT THERE IS 

                       SO MUCH MORE 

                        THAN I CAN SEE 

LIGHT 

IN THIS LIGHTHOUSE

SHINES BRIGHT

IN THE DARKNESS

WITHOUT 

LIGHT

THE SHIPS 

AT SEA

MAY JUST FLOUNDER 

AND SINK

WITH 

LIGHT

A SHIP 

CAN FIND ITS WAY

AND 

AIM FOR DEEPER WATERS 

OR 

AVOID 

THE ROCKS 

AT 88 YEARS OF AGE
I INTEND TO KEEP LETTING 
MY LIGHT SHINE FOR JESUS CHRIST 
MY LORD 
AND SAVIOUR
WHO 
IS 
THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD.

JESUS IS COMING SOON!

                                                 Walking in the darkness

                                 Or Traveling on the wide Seas

                                  I live in the light of that 

                                  Blessed Hope - The Glorious 

                                   Appearing of our  Great 

                                   God and Saviour Jesus Christ.

                                            Titus 2.11 -  14

                                 11.  For the grace of God that 

                                 bringeth salvation hath appeared

                                 to all men.

                                  12. Teaching us that, denying 

                                   ungodliness and worldly lusts, 

                                   we should live soberly, righteously,

                                   and godly in this present world:

                                  13. Looking for that blessed hope

                                    and the glorious appearing of 

                                     the great God and our Saviour 

                                     Jesus Christ;

                                  14. Who gave himself for us, 

                                   that he might redeem us from

                                    all iniquity, and purify unto 

                                    himself a peculiar (unique - 

                                     different)  people, zealous

                                      of good works.

                                     

                                  

As a flower blooms and displays 

its beauty

We are to flourish

shining our light 

My husband Henry was one 

man that let his light shine.

He was to me 

a LIGHTBEARER   

Psalm 25.4,5 

4. Show me thy ways, O LORD; 

teach me thy paths.

5. Lead me in thy truth,

and teach me: for thou

art the God of my 

salvation; on thee do I 

wait all the day. 

You might think of it this way.

A church building is just 

that. 

no more.

no less. 

a building is not

what God is about.

The people make a church. 

God wants people 

to know 

WHO HE IS 

and 

that 

HE HAS SENT JESUS

Jesus said of himself 

I am the way, the truth, 

and the life,

No man cometh 

to the Father but by me.

John  14.6  

A local church is a 

gathering of those people 

who have admitted they 

are sinners, and have 

come to God through the blood of 

Jesus Christ who died once 

for all

that we might

have 

everlasting life

that we might 

become 

the Sons of God

with all the 

legal rights

of the Son Jesus Christ

now their inheritance.

A Local Church 

is not the Building it meets in.

It is a Living Organization

in which Christ is the head 

the the members are the body.

For you see, Jesus is 

the Head of the Church

and He Alone

is the Author 

and 

the Finisher 

of our 

Faith.   

Jesus said 

I am the Light of the world: 

he that followeth me

shall not walk 

in darkness,

but shall have 

the light of Life.

John 8.12  

Psalm 18.28  

Thou wilt light my candle:

The LORD my God will 

enlighten 

my darkness.

Isaiah 50.10 

Who is among you that feareth

the LORD, that 

obeyeth the voice

of his servant,

that walketh in darkness,

and hath no light?

Let him trust in 

the name of the LORD, 

and stay upon his God.

GET PLUGGED IN TO THE SOURCE

AND THEN SHINE ! 

Matthew 5.16

Let your light so shine before men

that they may see your 

good works

and glorify your Father

which is in heaven.

 When Jesus was about to heal a

 blind man,

he said " As long as I am in 

the world, I am the light of the world." 

John 9,5 

He spat on the ground,

and made clay,

and anointed the man's eyes

with the clay.

He said, Go, wash in 

the pool of Siloam.

He had quite a walk.

It took a little time 

to get there. 

and he did waht Jesus said to do.

He came seeing.  

And asked who made him to see, 

He said, A man that is called Jesus 

made clay, and anointed mine eyes,

and said unto me,

Go wash in the Pool of Siloam.

And I went and washed, 

and I received sight.

They said unto him,

Where is he? 

He said,  I know not.

(John ch. 9 is where you 

can read for your self.)

After this man was cast out 

of the Temple, Jesus came 

and found him.

He asked him, "Dost thou 

believe on the Son of God? "

    The man said, 

Who is he, Lord? 

And Jesus said unto him, 

Thou hast seen him, 

and it is he that 

speaketh with the."

And he said, Lord, I believe.

And he worshipped him.

John 9.v 38 

And Jesus said, For judgment 

I am come into this world, 

that they which are blind 

might see, and that they which see 

might be made blind.

My husband and I together

served our Lord 

letting our light shine for Jesus 

many years.

In this blog, I hope to share

TO THE LIGHT

COME JOURNEY WITH ME

Romans 3.23 

All have sinned and come short of

the glory of God.

Romans 6.23 

For the wages of sin is death;

but the gift of God is eternal 

life through Jesus Christ his son.  

John 3.3 

And Jesus answered and said, 

Verily, Verily

(Amen, Amen)

I say unto you,

except a man be born again, he

cannot see the kingdom of God

It was Jesus speaking to

Nicodemus 

that said:   

(John 3.16)

FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD

THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON

THE WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH ON HIM

SHOULD NOT PERISH,

BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE. 

Jesus was either a liar 

or he was crazy 

or he was telling the truth.

In Matthew 4.13 - 16 

13. And leaving Nazareth, he came 

and dwelt in Capernaum, which is 

upon the sea coast, in the borders

of Zebulun and Nepthalim:

14. that it might be fulfilled 

which was spoken

 by Esaias the prophet, 

saying, 

15. The land of Zabulon, 

and the land of Nephthalim,

 by the way of the sea, 

beyond Jordan,

 Galilee of the Gentiles;

16. The people which sat in 

darkness saw great light,

and to them

which sat in the region 

and shadow of death light is 

spring up. 

ARE YOU WALKING

TOWARD THE LIGHT?

OR, 

ARE YOU 

HEADED 

TOWARD THE DARKNESS?  

Only God knows your heart.

Only God sees and knows. 

Only God has provided 

a provision 

for you 

to walk 

in the light.

ALL YOU HAVE TO DO 

IS START BY 

FIRST 

1. agreeing you are 

a sinner, with a sin nature 

and a practice of sinning.

2. agree with God 

that you need to be have 

your sin nature 

and your sin past 

present 

and 

future 

washed and cleansed

and forgiven.

JESUS BLOOD IS 

ALL THAT IS NECESSARY.

John 1.19  Behold the Lamb of God 

which taketh away the sins of the world. 

What can wash away my sin?

nothing but the blood of Jesus. 

What can make me whole again? 

Nothing but the blood of Jesus! 

Oh! precious is the flow

That makes me white as snow ! 

No other fount I know!

Nothing ! but the blood of Jesus!  

Psalm 119.105

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet;

and a light 

unto my path."
