        NOTES TAKEN FROM HIS CHART
GAVE ME THE GOAL SETTING
PROCESS WHICH I NOW PRESENT TO YOU:
SEVEN STEPS OF IMAGINATION AND FAITH

Philippians 4.8

Finally, my brethren, whatsoever things are true,

whatsoever things are honest,

whatsoever things are just,

whatsoever things are pure,

whatsoever things are lovely,

whatsoever things are of good report;

if there be any virtue,

and if there be any praise,

think on these things.

Philippians 3.12 - 14

 12. Not as though I had already

attained, either were already

perfect: but I follow after

that for which I am also

apprehended of Christ Jesus.

13. Brethren, I count not myself

to have apprehended: but this one

thing I do, forgetting those things

which are behind,

and reaching forth

unto those things which are before,

14. I press toward the mark of

the prize of the high calling of God

in Christ Jesus.

SETTING GOALS BEGINS

WITH DISCOVERING MY OWN

PATH BY (1) LOOKING

AT THE TRUE.

(2) SETTING FORTH

THE BEAUTIFUL

(3) FINDING MOTIVATION  AND WHY ?

I WANT TO SET MY GOALS.

(4) ONCE MOTIVATED - I

CAN THEN CHOOSE

SETTING PURPOSE

AND PROMISE

FOR GOALS, WHICH IS

BASED ON WHAT IS RIGHT.

(5) THEN PLANNING SPECIFIC

GOALS BEGINS.

THE HOW, WAYS & MEANS OF ALL

THE GOAL SETTING

BASED ON PATTERNS

I WANT TO FOLLOW.

This will be the General Planning.

(6)  UPON PLANNING

I CAN THEN BEGIN TO

SCHEDULE INTO MY LIFE

TIME

PLACE

MATERIALS

AND

EQUIPMENT.

These are the methods I can choose.

(7) THE FINAL STEP IS THE DOING OF IT

REALIZATION IN EXPERIENCE.

A REPEATED

CYCLE

OF

GOAL SETTING

OF

FOCUSING

UPON

THINGS THAT ARE BEFORE ME

PRESSING TOWARD THE MARK

OF THE HIGH CALLING OF GOD

IN CHRIST JESUS.

Looking the the Beautiful

I must remember

that in God's eyes,

I am a sinner, without any hope

apart from the Lord Jesus Christ

and the Blood that He shed on the Cross

was sufficient

and satisfied

THE RIGHTEOUSNESS

AND HOLINESS

THAT DEMANDS

COMPLETE PAYMENT FOR MY SIN.

Romans 3.23

For all have sinned and

come short

of the glory of God.

Roman 6.23

For the wages of sin is death,

but the gift of God is eternal life

through Jesus Christ our Lord.

ONCE WE RECEIVE

THE LORD JESUS CHRIST,

HIS SPIRIT

IMMERSED YOU AND ME

IN THE VAT OF GOD'S LOVE

AND WE ARE NOW

ON THAT JOURNEY

WITH CHRIST IN US

for as Jesus said to Nicodemus in

John 3.3  "Verily, Verily - truly truly or

indeed, indeed, ye must be born again.

SO NOW IN GOAL SETTING

AS I LOOK AT SETTING GOALS

I AM TO RECKON MY SELF

DEAD INDEED TO SIN,

AND ALIVE UNTO GOD

Romans 6.11

Ephesians 2. verse 1

And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses

and sins;

so now we are

to LOOK AT THE TRUE

CONSIDER THE TRUE

AND THEN

FOCUS ON THE BEAUTIFUL.

a Goal is what you set for your self

to get to where you want to be.

As a child of God

I am to grow.

The best way to grow is to learn.

2 Timothy 2.15

Tells us that we are students in life reading

God's Holy Word.   I recommend to you

the King James Version of the Holy Bible

as the Best, Most Reliable, and Perfect

Transcripts of the Scriptures today.

Even a 4th Grade student in school

is able to read the Bible and

using a Dictionary

find out for himself, or for herself,

what the Bible really is about.

2 TIMOTHY 2.15

STUDY TO SHOW THYSELF

APPROVED UNTO GOD, A

WORKMAN THAT NEEDETH NOT

TO BE ASHAMED, RIGHTLY

DIVIDING THE WORD OF TRUTH.

PUTTING FIRST THINGS FIRST

1. Set priorities in order of my principles.

Check to see what needs to be kept.

find out what stresses me most.

sort out the true from the false.

sort out the ugly and hurtful from that which is good and beautiful.

set goals from what I discover.

1.  Put aside all things that do not fit into the priorities.

Check what needs to be set aside.

Check what things are best for me and for what I want to do and be.

God helping me, I will do what I can,

however I can,

as best I can,

for He knows  and cares, and it is worth doing.

3.  Put ON THE BACK BURNER  those things I

am NOT READY FOR  - set them aside

to be looked at when I am able to handle

that thing or those things I want

to do but cannot, because I am not ready.

I must take into account my

real needs

not assumed  wants.

Looking at the Beautiful

and visualizing what my goals are

will head me in the right

direction.

Ephesians 5.1 and 2.

Be ye therefore, followers of God, as dear

children, and walk in love as Christ

also hath loved us, and hath

given himself for us an

offering and a sacrifice to

God for a sweetsmelling savour.

We can discover in our selves

through the reading of God's Word,

through His Spirit's guidance,

how to assess our selves

and to go forward by

first discovering

what is TRUE

THEN

focusing on

THE BEAUTIFUL

and aiming at that goal, in ways

I know are best for me.

As an old lady, I thank God that I can say

WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE.

Luke 1.37   Gabriel speaking to Mary about the virgin birth of our Savior.

Matthew 19.26

Jesus speaking to the disciples, regarding salvation:

With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.

The current of a waterfall
is made stronger
by the strength of the walls
holding those waters
as they tumble down
Let your life be
drawn closer to God
as you set
goals
and look
at who and what
and how you
want to be
more and more like Jesus

Take my life and let it be
consecrated, Lord, to thee.
Take my hands and
let them move,
at the impulse of
thy love,
at the impulse of thy love.

Take my feet and
let them be
swift and beautiful for thee.
Take my voice
and let me sing
always, only for my King,
always, only, for my King.

Take my lips and let them be
filled with messages for thee;
take my silver and my gold
not a mite would I withhold,
not a mite would I withhold.

Take my love, My God I pour
at thy feet, my treasure store,
Take my self, and I will be
always, only, all for thee,
always, only, all for thee.
(Frances Havergal - hymn.)
